We made the cowboy cookies today. They were absolutely yummy!! If anyone is looking for a great oatmeal/choc chip/raisin cookie I'll get you the recipe. 1st I laid out all the ingredients while Lincoln was still napping... When he woke up everything was ready and he was so excited. He has been waiting to make the cookies for a couple of days now.... He did a great job at helping, and an even better job at getting the beaters cleaned!!
Yummy, 1st raw cookie batter!! Lincoln approved of the final product. He had the idea on his own for us to go bring some to our elderly neighbors......Sweet boy...
We saved half of the cookie batter in the freezer to pull out and make more at a later date!!

Yum...those sound good!! I'd love the recipe (I'd just leave out the raisins, though). That's so sweet of Lincoln to think of the neighbor - were they surprised?
the neighbors are on a trip I guess, we keep going over there and no one is answering. Lincoln is so sad...
That's too bad the neighbors haven't been home. Maybe when you make the cookies from the frozen dough. TGIF tomorrow!!
