Home from S.A.

Just returned from a great girls weekend in San Antonio for Jen's baby shower. The boys stayed home with Ron for the entire weekend. Apparently, they had some great Daddy/son time. I was gone for 2 whole nights!! I got a little homesick being away from the boys, but on the other hand I think it was a great "rest" for me! And it was fantastic to spend so much time with my family, and being able to visit with some friends.
Here's Mom with all 4 of us kids. 2 pregnant.... Sue was so excited that for the 1st picture she was the skinniest!! (and she has lost almost 40 lbs so she really really looks tiny now!!)
Bristol (my niece) and me...
Jen and I getting ready for a dinner out at Peasano's, one of our favorites.
We are just 4 weeks apart, and are having fun being pregnant together.
My sister, Susan, and her daughter (my niece) Lauren.
Don't they look like they could be sisters here?

High Hopes

Lincoln's dream job "as a teenager" at the moment is working at Blockbuster. Not sure how he came up with this, and don't even ever remember taking him to Blockbuster (???). The Blockbuster closest to us recently closed down, so Lincoln was upset about this but I told him there was another one in Flower Mound!!! He says it would be cool to work with all the movies and games.
I'm still shocked that in Kindergarten they write sentences and whole stories. A lot has changed since I was in Kinder! It sure has been hilarious to read some of the things Lincoln writes about in his journal, I'll have to share some more!

Lennox

Sonogram today!!!
Everything looks good, he continues to measure a week ahead,
which is good news.
He is 4 lbs!!
The top photo: Tilt your head to the right and you can really see his face!
And of course the bottom picture is a profile.
He is perfectly cute!!!
(and very very very very active!!!)

Mom I love you, Lawson

I'm so amazed at my just turned 4 year old!!! He has always had such advanced handwriting. I had to brag on him and share this note that he wrote me tonight. He even drew the heart!!! This is very very very good for a 4 yr old!

Texas Snow Day

School was cancelled today, and we are getting TONS of heavy snow. The boys have been playing in it for the past several hours. They are inside now, dethawing in front of the fireplace with hot cocoa. We are are going to have a fun play day at home, and I'm sure they will be heading out soon for some more snow play!!!

I'm feeling great, but having a difficult time with my back. Looking forward to meeting the baby in 2 short months!!!

Lincoln (Finally) learned to ride his bike!!! Now he wants to be riding every free chance he gets, and he has a smile on his face the entire ride! Lawson will (soon) be next!

Lawson wasn't in the picture taking mood today!!! This was something he did at school: I love Lincoln to stitches. (He was supposed to fill in the blank with his most favorite person!)

What's in a Name...

Yes, we finally decided on a name!
Any guesses?
Yes, it is an "L" name, and yes it is "different".
(ie... it's NOT Luke, Landon, Lane or Logan!)
And it's not my original favorite, Levi.
The 1st person we told the name to, didn't quite have a positive reaction, it was more like "I guess I could get used to that name,
you can get used to any name"!
However, that didn't sway our decision.
Ron and I both think it's a beautiful, strong, unique, "cool" name, and the boys love it too!
We hope that you all are fond of it, as well.
Or at least "get used to it"!!
Stay tuned for the name disclosure coming soon (first AND last name!)

Florida in March

Got our plane ticket's to see Reaah (Ron's sister) get married on the Florida Beach! Unfortunately, we won't be able to do our extended 2 week Florida vacation this year. Just can't take Lincoln out of school that long, and hey, I'm going to be Very pregnant: I need to get back and have the baby! So, we decided on an extended weekend trip. Looking forward to it, and next year we'll take all 3 boys on a 2 week vacation to the Beach/Disney!
