Matthew...

OK, Jen and Lauren have been so good at posting what they are doing this week. I have to say Matthew and Lauren have exact opposite personalities... Matthew is just as happy just hanging out at home.... He is so laid back... So, no High School Musical on Ice or Manicures for us. And Sue, I know you will be checking in on the blog, so here are some things we have done.
(PS... We have spared Matthew thus far with picture taking, but we will get him sooooon)

Monday: Matthew was picked up a 1pm. Ron took the day off work to welcome Matthew in town. After getting lost (again) at the airport we arrived home for Matthew to settle in. Ron, Matthew, and Lincoln went on a bike ride, and the boys kept Matthew busy outside playing football, etc... Matthew bonded with Miss Lucky, and she now follows him everywhere and even sleeps in his bed..... That night we had homemade bread, lasagna, and salad for dinner: apple crisp for dessert. Matthew brought his X box, so him and Lincoln were busy playing games... Matthew watched his favorite Monday night movies... Then Ron went on his evening jog: tried to talk Matthew into jogging, but Matthew chose to ride the bike next to him....

Tuesday: Matthew came along with us for Lawson's dental appointment: we have a fun dentist office (stadium seating movies, free coffee lounge, massaging chairs.....I love taking them to the dentist). Then we went to CiCi's for pizza and Matthew stuffed himself. The boys all played some video games. On Tuesday we had Flooding, so we spent the rest of the afternoon dry inside and I think we all took naps.... Then we went out to dinner at Anemia's: one of our fave local Mexican Restaurants. We like that they prepare your guacamole tableside.... Ron and Matthew went out and bought some remote control cars to play with and have Miss Lucky chase... Then we watched some movies....

Wednesday: Matthew and I took the boys to see the Dr Sueus Movie: Horton Hears a Who. Lincoln LOVED it, we even went to Barnes and Nobles to buy him the book.;..... Lawson however we found out is not ready for the movie theatre.... I got a refund for the 2 of our tickets, and he had more fun running around the lobby... Then we had lunch at McD's, and home for some more naps and x-box.... Evening plans today include dinner at home, out for dessert, and who knows what else will come up. (Matthew and Ron are going to smoke a whole brisket tomorrow, so I know they are going to work on marinating that tonight)

That sounds like a lot of fun!! I'm sure Lauren would be fine sitting around the house, too, but I want to take advantage of the time since it's just the two of us!! Thursday is going to be a lot more low key.
