It looks like he has all his blankets and pillows arranged in a very specific way...must be comfortable for him. Doesn't look very comfy to me, though.

I believe this is a disguise. What we see as an uncomfortable sleeping position is actually a planned getaway. His effort is to form a wall of pillows and stuffed animals in order to clear the side of the crib. So the crib climber strikes again!!! Don't be fooled by the calmness of the moment. :)
