Thursday

We had so much fun today at Cara's. We went to the splash park, and Ryan, Maddie, Lincoln, and Lawson all had so much fun. Then we ventured on over to the playground, and then over to their house for lunch. Thanks Cara!! Tori is getting so big, and she is so sweet and adorable (5 months now).

Anyone know anything about hives? Lincoln woke up from his nap today with Hives all over his whole body including his face, yuck.... I gave him Benydryl and put on that medicated powder... Seemed to work. The only time he has had hives was when he was allergic to a medicine about a year ago. He ate some rasberries over at Cara, and I am wondering if he is allergic??? Could the reaction come 5 hours later??

Actually, there are various sensitivity reactions that can occur from exposure to an allergin. What happens with some people is that they have eaten a food before and have never had an episode and then all of the sudden they have a reaction. It is important to pinpoin the item which caused the reaction B/C the next time the individual is exposed to it could present with more serious symptoms. You also want to let your doctor know, as I am sure you already have, because there are some foods they are used to stabalise certain immunity injections(for example, eggs, poultry). Reactions to sensitivities can take hours to days for the body to present with a visible symptom. You did the right thing with benadryl. Sometimes being to hot can bring out a reaction even sooner. I will send you a packet of information that I have on allergic sensitivities; type I, type II, type III, type IV, type V.
