Happenings

The Mothers Day present Lincoln made for me at MOPS, Love it... One of our new tiffany chandeliers for the kitchen, inspired by Nanny.

Another one in the dining room, pic coming soon.

The boys playing with play doh, TOGETHER.

Play doh playset given to us by Cara...

MONDAY: Our LAST Mops meeting for the year (we only meet during the school year). Looking forward to next year, I'll be a discussion group leader again.

Went to Lincoln's preschool for some paperwork, he will be going to a "summer preschool session", which is every Tuesday and Thursday am for the month of June. It will be good for us all, me to see how it will be when he starts school next year, him to get familiar with the school and teachers, and the teachers there to get used to his "personality" before the fall session starts. And it's supposed to be lot's of fun....

This is what he will be learning about:

Jump into summer fun and excitement as they discover fresh water pond life while engaging in activities about frogs, beavers, turtle, and fish. Handmade sailboats, water lilies, puppets, and picnic placemats will keep them entertained. Reinforcing academic concepts such as numbers, letters, sounds, shapes, colors, ryme/rythm, small and large motor skills, social skills, opposites, language, and literacy. Packed with fun, hands on activities, creativity, imaginative thinking and lots of opportunities for outdoor fun.

He is going to have so much fun!!

Then after dinner, we went bike riding, good day. Good naps.

TUESDAY: Took car in for a wash, went grocery shopping, Happy Meal at McDonalds, Lincoln had a good nap but Lawson had a short one. Had our most miserable cookie making experience (secret ingredients added), that's ok next time will be better. These wont be going to the neighbors or sold on ebay...
And tonight I get to go out for Moms Night Out dinner at Southlake Townsquare, Trulucks. Looking forward to it.

Busy, Busy week ahead. Please don't get upset at me if I don't call you back for a few days... Next week is much more free...
