Swing Batter Batter Sweeeing
Lawson has started T-ball!!! He is on The Rangers, which is the same team Lincoln was on when he was 3-4. Lawson is a natural, he has a great arm. Loves to hit, throw, and catch. And takes the whole thing very seriously. It was awesome to watch him at practice today, he definitely has that competitive side.
More Back to School Pics
This is how worn out they were last night. It was only about 6pm. We had just gotten back from getting ice cream at Baskin Robbins... I don't know why they were almost asleep in the foyer!
PS: Why are my pictures coming out "grainy" looking when I put them on my blog?

Preggers Update
Were we trying to have another baby, or was this a surprise?
Yes, we wanted to have baby #3. Ron and I both always wanted a large family and we knew we weren't "complete" yet with just the 2. About a year ago, we were totally certain that we were done. However, we quickly changed our minds.
Will we find out the gender?
Yes, of course!!! No need for all that extra anxiety. I like to plan/prepare, and I think it helps to "bond" with your baby if you can start calling "it" a he/she.
Of course, each is own, I know plenty of moms/dad that aren't finding out. So for those out there, I'm keeping the gender a secret from you (since you like surprises). Just kidding.
Are we hoping for a girl or boy?
No preference. I definitely will be happy with 3 boys!!! A girl would be nice, too. But I think we win either way at this point. (I have this secret hope that I am having twins...) (and, no, twins don't run in either side of our family)
How am I feeling?
Not too bad. Yet. Hopefully this pregnancy will be easier on me than the 1st two. No vomitting yet, just a bit queezy. And boy, have I been hungry. It feels like I am always starving, and I never get full. If this keeps up, I'm going to gain a ton of weight. (45lbs with Lincoln, 19 with Lawson).

HV Ballon's
Here we all are in one of the hot air balloons... Me, Lexi, Lincoln, Jaden, Lincoln, and Angie.
The boys even got to pull the propane tank to light it up. There was live music, so we sat and listened while the kids played, danced, played, and played. We didn't get them home until 10pm, so we suffered a bit today, but all is good.
Good Names?
Also, Lawson wants a little brother and Lincoln want's a little sister. Mommy and Daddy will take either one!
This may explain why my Boys are so smart. Bring on the Morning Sickness.
Morning sickness linked to smarter babies
Thu, Apr 23, 2009 (HealthDay News) -- Children born to mothers who have morning sickness may be smarter than those whose moms don't have nausea and vomiting during pregnancy, suggests a new study.
Researchers found that the children of mothers with morning sickness scored higher on tests designed to assess children's IQ and mental acuity, the Canadian Press reported.
But while this difference was statistically significant, it doesn't mean that children born to mothers who didn't have nausea during pregnancy are developmentally slow, said senior author Dr. Gideon Koren, director of the Motherisk Program at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto. It's just that the other children scored higher on the tests.
The study appears in the Journal of Pediatrics.
Nausea has long been recognized as a sign of a healthy pregnancy, according to the CP. Pregnant women who have morning sickness are less likely to have a miscarriage and less likely to have babies with congenital cardiovascular problems.

I've had this blog for 3 years now, why ruin a good thing?
Plus, I can do that cute pregnancy ticker thing over there to the left. Doesn't the baby look so funny/odd/but cute at this stage?
Lincoln used to check "aunt" Tiffany's blog every day to see how her baby was growing. So, as soon as I told him I was pregnant it wasn't long afterwards that he logged into my blog to see if that Fetus ticker thing was there. Soooo, tomorrow when he checks he will be happy to know he can now check on our new baby's growth.
Lincoln also reminded me: Now Mommy you can't drink coffee anymore while you are pregnant!! Thanks for reminding me!! I asked him how he knew that and he said "he just knew". I have a feeling he will be watching out for me to follow all the rules!!
And of course, Lawson is excited to be able to be a Big brother, and he says that Lincoln will be the Bigger Big brother.... They are already coming up with Baby names, and making all kinds of plans. I'ts going to be a loooong 8 more months for these little ones!
We are thinking we are due at the end of April, but will find out a more specific due date in a couple of weeks. My last 2 baby's were born in the Winter, so this is going to be new and exciting for me. So far, I don't feel "pregnancy" sick. But I am struggling with a cold/sinus thing, and to top that off the caffeine detox.
6th Floor Museum
Wow this museum stuff is hard work!!
Flower Mound Five?
I guess we will be The Flower Mound Five come April time.
The boys will be getting a new brother or sister, and we will be getting another little bundle of joy. (Or maybe two???)

Just a Little Bit of Trouble
Our 3 yr old, is as cute as can be. But Wow, can he cause us some trouble. Not to go into details... It's all typical 3 yr old behavior!!! I did discover that cutting the sugar out of diet makes him a completely different child! It's hard, especially with all the summer treats available, but he's on board with it.
Lawson is our early riser, active, persistent, stubborn, driven child. He is physically strong, and a natural athlete at everything he tries. He tends to be on the "shy" side, but loves one on one attention. His favorite thing to do at home right now is build towers with blocks. You can find him building towers at all times throughout the day. He also loves to play on the computer, Leapster, read books, play board games, call family on the phone, practice his gymnastics on the living room floor, destroy his room, help mommy with chores. His favorite show to watch is Harold and the Purple Crayon, but generally doesn't have much interest in watching TV. Of course his mostest favoritest thing of all time is playing with his big brother!
Come Fall, Lawson will be starting pre-school two half days a week (9-1). He will also be on a T-ball team through the city, and will be in a soccer class. He will be in Awana Cubbies at a local church (this will be his 2nd yr).
I think this is going to be a great year for him!
