Bed Changes

The boys came home to a big surprise for them from Daddy.

Lincoln got a bunk bed!! It's the kind that has a desk, dresser, etc... under the top bed and a floor trundle with wheels. For now, he ONLY goes up when it's bedtime reading, then he sleeps on the trundle. Oh yeah, there is also this secret door and a secret "room" behind the desk which is really fun... (I would take a picture, but I don't have a camera quite yet... ordered one online and it will be here soon...)

Lawson got rid of his toddler bed and got Lincoln's full sized "barn shaped" bed... He loves it... So we came home from vacay have to do lot's of room changing around...

We've come home and are safe and sound.
2 week vacations are Fun, but the couple days afterward are the downfall... But entirely worth it.
We had a blast. Thank You to Nanny and Grandpa Dave for all the hospitality... the loads and loads of laundry done for us, the endless supply of meals and food, but most of all the love and the great company. It was great also visiting with Grandma Joan, Ray Ray and Aldo, and Ms. Mary.
We came home with many many many great memories, many pictures, great tans, etc.... But I didn't come home with a camera, I ruined it on the beach... So I am camera shopping.

Feeling Lucky

Tomorrow is our last full day here in Florida, after a 14 day stay. Knock on wood, but I feel so fortunate that we have survived this vacation without any major injuries, broken bones, ER visits, illnesses, or even sunburns!!
Of course we did have:
one sliver in foot that needed removal by nurse ray ray, one migraine (me), one strained back muscle (me), one strained groin muscle from doing splits on beach (Lincoln), bite on one back and a bruise on the other (given by each other), one dog bite on the butte, bloodshot eyes x 3 days (lawson), weird looking rash on foot (Laws), motion sickness from rides at universal studios (me). One ingrown toenail.
Ok ok ok, as I am writing this I'm feeling that we weren't as lucky as I was at 1st envisioning... But still no broken bones is a good thing! Boys will be boys, this is pretty much a norm for us.

This Kid is Funny

Lincoln was running back and forth, back and forth, back and forth.... When I asked him what he was doing he said that he was "running for president"....
So, I'm thinking during the whole presidential election thing... In Lincoln's head he actually visualized Obama and McCain "running"... he he he he

I also told him about 6 months that we "kicked Lucky out of our room at night because she was such a loud sleeper". Well today I found out that for the past 6 months, Lincoln thought that I actually KICKED (physically) her out of the room. Awwww... Lincoln thought I would actually do that...

So watch out what you say to this kid, he takes everything literally!!!

U.S. Orlando

A fun time was had by all (me, reaah, aldo, and lincoln) at Universal Studios Orlando.
It was a dream come true for Lincoln (according to him...)

beach, beach, and more beach. And a "slice" of pizza??

We like to spend our evenings on the pier, watching the sunset and feeding the fish.

Rons Last Day

Ron's last day today in Florida... He now will be going to California, and the boys and I still have a week left of vacation here.

Reaah/Aldo

Us old folks went for a night on the town with Reaah and her boyfriend, Aldo.
We had a great time, but were lucky to make it until midnight...

Birds

There is a tropical bird rescue here next to Nanny and Daves, this bird flew on Rons shoulder and stayed there the entire time... And this bird and Lincoln were singing and dancing together... Lincoln was cracking up. It was really interesting, I'm sure we will be back with in the week.

Bye Bye Grandma Joan

Grandma Joan left today to head back home to NY. We spent the morning with her, we will miss her!!!
