School, Etc

Tomorrow is Lincoln's FIRST DAY OF PRESCHOOL. Of course, he is soooooo excited, mommy has mixed feelings of "letting him grow up", but I'll let you know how it goes. It is from 9-12. What are Lawson and I going to do???

Health: Lincoln is ALOT better. He even made it to Win Kids for his class this morning. Wow, those antibiotics really kicked in. Lawson and Lincoln still have lingering coughs, but are good to go. Ron says he "thinks he is coming out of it", but now Mommy is sick. Who takes care of Mommy when she is sick??

Lawson has THREE back molars coming in all at once, OUCH....

Lincoln got his HAIR CUT today. I wanted it long, Ron wants it short. Daddy's always have the final say I guess. But at least it is a NICE styled cut, pic to follow. I like it ALOT better than the buzz...

Sickness

Lincoln is officially (I think) allergic to RASBERRIES. We found out the hard way, full body of hives and all. So family, remember no rasberries for this little one.

ALSO, Lincoln is pretty sick right now. 102 fever still, weak, cough, just miserable. We'll go to the dr...

Milestone

Oh I forgot to mention that LAWSON WENT POTTY IN THE POTTY CHAIR!! I'm predicting he will be an EARLY potty trainer. Not anytime soon, but early. We'll keep working on the potty chair, he knew exactly what he was doing, this was no accident! Also, LINCOLN has been potty trained for ONE WHOLE YEAR!!

Sick

The whole family here is sick now. Lincoln is having it the worst today, and has a 102 temp... Just laying around, coughing, teeth hurt, tummy, etc... We had to cancel our evening plans, but hope to get all better by end of weekend.
Lawson also has TWO of his back teeth coming in. He has four top and four bottom, then a bunch of spaces before his back teeth....

VBS Party

After our fun filled week of vacation bible school, our church threw a end of VBS party. They had pony rides, petting zoo, bounce houses, water slides, train rides, snow cones, etc.... Lawson and Ron stayed home under the weather, and Lincoln and I went out and had some fun. Here are a few of the things he did... First of two pony rides...

Lost

No we haven't fallen off the face of the earth, we just are a little overbooked this week due to VBS, which by the way has been GREAT, stay tuned...

Lincoln, Beans, VBS

Lincoln says when he wants to grow up he wants to be "a doctor and a fisherman", but only if we are with him...

We have been eating FRESH green beans grown in our back yard garden. This has been a special treat for us!! Ron and I both grew up eating all our veggies straight from our garden, so we can appreciate this. We also have tomatoes, basil, rosemary that we have been using. And some other things growing like watermelon, etc... We have this garden on the side of our house, and the soil here is spectacular and all this rain has been great.

We have Vacation Bible School at our church this WHOLE week from 8am until Noon. Lincoln and Lawson will both be in a bible school classroom, and I will be volunteering with the FOOD.... We did this last year and it was a blast.

The Bounce House

We put up our BOUNCE HOUSE today. Boys had a blast. We also blew bubbles, sprayed silly sprayed, snacked on the picnic table, and just had lots of fun. Daddy grilled out our tradition Sunday night Steaks!!

My Ride

This is my Mom Mobile. I LOVE my Suburban. Boy, have I changed or what?? Anyway, I had to wash it up and take pictures because Surprise Surprise we are going to sell it. We want to trade up to the newer model, now that our warranty is up. As some of you know, we are ALWAYS buying or selling one of our vehicles.

Muddy Lunch

OK here is a 2nd part to our Memorial Day Mud Memory... After the boys Muddy adventure, we still had to eat lunch, Ron grilled out some hot dogs... We didn't really have anything to clean them up, so this is the best we could do. We laughed at Lincoln because he was asking for a wet wipe to clean himself up. Like he really thought a wet wipe would do the trick!! Funny thing is, after eating, playing some b-ball and running around, the mud all just kind of dried up on them and flaked off.... Didn't look so bad. But, boy was that a messy bathtub to srub afterwords. I think Lincoln still has mud under his nails...

Thursday

We had so much fun today at Cara's. We went to the splash park, and Ryan, Maddie, Lincoln, and Lawson all had so much fun. Then we ventured on over to the playground, and then over to their house for lunch. Thanks Cara!! Tori is getting so big, and she is so sweet and adorable (5 months now).

Anyone know anything about hives? Lincoln woke up from his nap today with Hives all over his whole body including his face, yuck.... I gave him Benydryl and put on that medicated powder... Seemed to work. The only time he has had hives was when he was allergic to a medicine about a year ago. He ate some rasberries over at Cara, and I am wondering if he is allergic??? Could the reaction come 5 hours later??

Yup, Someone who loves the boys very much went to NY and brought them back these Tshirts.

And Yup, Lincoln is about to catch a jumping Lawson: their new game...Yikes, boys...

Yesterday, we had our lunch outside on the picnic table in the rain, then went on a bike ride in the rain. Just because that is what they do around here. But, I made my decision. I can't like being in the rain....

Last week, Cara, the twins, and baby all came over to play and for lunch. Lincoln has so much fun playing with them, they are only 2 months apart. So, tomorrow we are headed over there to play, and maybe go to the Splash Park in their neighborhood.

Tuesday Six

1. What is your favorite part of summer? The Lake, and mom playing in the water with me.

2. Did you have school on Monday? (he's not in school yet) I like the bug, but I dont like riding in there sometimes. I have to go potty, stop writing while I go until I get back.

3. What do you do on a 3 day weekend? Play and work, mostly work. Sometimes I like to work when I grow up.

4. Who are you most proud of? Mommy!! Why?? Because I like her!!

5. How long is the summer? Ummm, 3 Hours.

Our Memorial Day

Well, we decided what to do today. We packed up our bikes (and car) and headed down to the big duck pond for the day. We played basketball, did some fishing, played on the playground, fed the ducks, grilled out hotdogs and had a picnic. ALL IN THE RAIN. Oh yeah, and the boys played in the MUD...
