Merry Go Round

Remember these contraptions?? You NEVER see these things anymore. When we were growing up, the merry go round was always the biggest hit at the park. I guess they were too dangerous??? They have one at the pumpkin patch, and the boys played on that thing for at least an hour while I found some shade to watch them from.

Makes me dizzy just watching it! I do remember loving riding the merry-go-round...the faster, the better!

I recently saw a park near us and remember thinking it was odd that they had a merry-go-round. We used to have hours of fun on them. Where did they all go?
