My Uncle Don (my Dad's brother) and Aunt Mary (from Boston) had a whole day layover at the DFW airport on their way from vacationing in Maui to visit one of their son's in Dublin. The layover was from 6am until 5pm, so we were able to spend a whole Saturday visiting with them! This was the 1st time they got to meet the 3 boys.... Here is the one and only picture I was able to snap while they were here!

Grammy and Valentine's

Happy Valentine's Day to my family and friends, and other readers! All in all it was a good one over here. Last week, our whole family of 5 suffered from recovering from the flu. My mom came in for a 4 night visit, so I'm praying that she didn't catch the flu while she was here. But it sure was nice to have that extra set of hands trying to get everyone well! My brother also flew in for an overnight visit to watch Lincoln get baptized... praying he didn't take any flu germs home either.

Thanks to my Valentine Ron Geri who cooked me lobster tails and steak last night, gave me a new pair of boots and shoes... he picked out himself. A boxful of goodies from Nestle Tollhouse, and a bouquet of flowers.... Good job for someone who is sick with the flu!

Ron's Hand Carved Sled!!!

Ron went on a mission last night and couldn't find a sled. So, this morning he spent a few hours and made this awesome wooden tobbagan sled for the boys. Put some wax on the bottom and the boys had a blast (there is a big hill at the park near us....)

Valentine's Pictures...

Despite the snow and icy roads, I decided to keep our photo appointment. It was nice getting out of the house after 4 days and I was glad I did because I loved the pictures. So proud of having 3 boys, I'm still so amazed I've been so blessed!!!

Expecting

EXPECTING AGAIN!! I know, I know, it's crazy isn't it? I can't believe it myself. I wasn't going to put it on here because it's still early but wanted to make it official. I mean who would have guessed that we are expecting AGAIN!! Yup it's official.. We are expecting snow Thur and MAYBE Friday too!!

ha ha ha no baby, just snow!!!! School will be closed for the 4th day tomorrow!!!

Today is the 3rd day of canceled school. Making the best of our time stuck at home!

Snow Day #1

Northern Texas got a lot of snow today! The boys and I enjoyed having a day off for a snow day, and school has already been canceled for tomorrow. We had a fun day of playing outside, doing Valentine's crafts, baking cookies, and having the other snowed in families over to play!
