The Bikes

We got the bikes!! We spent hours and hours yesterday driving around Flower Mound. We got a bike "trailor" called a Bug, and the boys go in there and get pulled by daddy. The great thing about Flower Mound, is it is packed with bike trails, and you can get anywhere quickly. We rode to dinner at Fish City, rode to Marble Slab for ice cream, rode to the duck pond and the boys played at the park. So. Much. Fun. Pics to follow soon...

BIKES

I am so. excited.
As we speak Ron is out at the Bike Store, buying us all new bikes and a trailor to put behind with the baby... We had so much fun in Florida riding bikes, we have decided to make this purchase. We have been wanting bikes for a long time, so I am so excited. The only thing is, I hope I like the bike he picks out for me.... he called and asked if I liked light blue... We have so many bike trails here in Flower Mound that we can just hop on from right here.... this will be a fun hobby for our whole family....

Me Too

Look at all the curls Lawson had at the beach....

Yup, I was at the beach too. And here is some proof...

Flip For Fun, Lincoln won 2nd Place!!

Ending his routine with hopscotch (he waved up to the judges 4 times during his routine, they were laughing...)

Way to go Lincoln!!

2nd Place!!

Proud Daddy took off work early to make it just in time for the event... Proud Lincoln showing off his medal. (PS. Everyone won something...)

Digging through a goodie bag he got, the highlight for him....

Flower Mound Update

1. Lincoln asked the pest control guy if he had a baby in his tummy (it looked like he did).
2. Lincoln told our neighbor she looked like Whoopi Golberg (she is very dark...)
3. My husband purchased a nebulizer (breathing) machine to help out a baby in our area that couldn't afford one. Nice husband.
4. We rescued a baby blue jay last night (out of our kitty's mouth), it found it's mommy this morning. We have a family of beautiful blue jays in our back yard, but our kitty tries to capture them... She spends all day watching them...
5. Lincoln had his end of the year childrens program for his bible study. Ron was able to make it up there for that. Lincoln participated in the beginning, then wiggled his way out to the side and goofed off: at one point he was lying all the way down on the stage pretending he was sleeping while his classmates were singing Jesus Loves Me....
6. Lincoln has his first gymnastics "meet" tonight, hope he does better than he did in the childrens program...
7. We have been back a week today, and everything is back to normal...
8. 100 homes here in Flower Mound were damaged by the big storms and one home was hit by a tornado, not too far from here, but all is well with us...

La La

CONGRATS to my neice Lauren, aka La La, for making the High School Dance Team. Can't wait to go watch you perform....

Magic Kingdom

While we were in Florida, Ron and I took Lincoln to Disney World's Magic Kingdom. Ron and I both agreed that this was one of the most amazing things we have ever done. Watching your 3 year old have the time of his life, is undescribable. Lincoln just LOVED it, and we loved watching him love it....We did almost everything Magic Kingdom had to offer, he even went on a real rollercoaster!!

BTW, Lawson had just as much fun staying back with Nanny and Grandpa Dave for the day...

Returned!!

We just returned from our 10 day vacation in Melbourne Beach, Florida. We had a great time, and I have plenty of pics to post when I get time!!

Happy Easter

I apologize for not calling you or calling you back to wish you a Happy Easter. But, it was just one of those days where phone calls weren't going to work (ie..Lawson had a bad day...Lincoln poured his bath bubbles from his Easter basket onto the coffee table and was sliding on it, etc...). But, we did have a great Easter....
We went to our church service last night, which was incredible. Which allowed us to sleep in a bit today and have a relaxing morning. Lincoln actually slept in until almost 9 because he stayed up so late last night excited about Easter. Last night, Lincoln colored Easter eggs, and this was a big deal for him. Then he lined them up on the fireplace for the Easter Bunny to hide. Along with the hard boiled eggs, they left the baskets, and 2 carrots for the bunny snack. This morning they had to find their hidden baskets, and dug in. Lincoln and Lawson both enjoyed going around the living room finding the eggs the bunny hid. Overall it was a great day.
Hope you and your family had a very Happy Easter!!

Hello Easter Bunny

The Mall Easter Bunny Visit Today...

Dallas Weather

Remember last Tuesday when the boys had the Easter Egg Hunt party, we all got sunburned in the almost 90 degree weather...
Wellllll, I am planning the neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt for Saturday, and guess what the weather forecast for Saturday is???

Saturday: A mixture of rain and snow showers. Cold. High 39F. Winds NNE at 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precip 60%.

Excuse me, but does that say SNOW?? On Saturday, on Easter??? Welcome to Dallas weather...This should make for an interesting Easter Egg Hunt...

By the way, we now have GRASS in our front lawn... Yeah, we have been having so much fun having a real yard now after a year of no grass. It looks great, Ron did a great job. I actually came home from SA to this surprise...

Lincolnator

My Lincoln's hair is finally looking decent again.... No curls yet, but at least there is some length to the hair, and it is starting to look A LOT better!! He's acting a little silly in these pictures, but I thought they still were cute...

More Prof Pics

In our Community Bible Study, the kids all gave the parents Easter cards today with pictures they had a professional photographer take without us knowing. I loved these.... And I didn't have to deal with the normal stress of taking them to a photo shoot...
OK, I have now decided that I will learn how to use this new scanner I have. NO more taking pictures of pictures!!

Lincoln's Work

Lincoln has his own Fisher Price Digital Camera, and here is a sample of some of some of the pictures he has taken: his dresser, his monkey, and his computer game....

Easter Egg Hunt

We went to a friend's house this afternoon for an Easter Egg Hunt Playgroup party (with Darla and Emily).... Fun, Fun, Fun... Lawson's Very 1st Easter Egg Hunt: He liked wearing his basket as a hat, and didn't come home with any eggs. He found 2, but then apparantly gave them away!!
I also came to the conclusion that it is always going to be hard to photograph a child during an egg hunt... They never sit still, of course don't want to stop to pose, and you have to run around after them. .. Next hunt I am not going to try to capture it and instead enjoy watching them have fun!!

Live Bunny Shots...

I picked up the pictures I ordered from our Live Bunny shots the other day. These are the only ones that I decided to order, and these are pictures of the pictures!! And now I don't have to take Lawson in for his 15 month pic, I love these of him!!

A Mom's Poem

A careful Mom I ought to be,
A little fellow follows me.
I do not dare to go astray,
For fear he will go the same way.
Not once can I escape his eyes,
whatever he see's me do he tries.
Like me he says he wants to be,
that little boy that follows me.
I must remember as I go,
Through summer sun and winter snow,
I am molding for the years to be.
That little boy who follows me.
(Uncle Ben's Quotebook)

Photo Show

My mom put together another, very nice photo show of all her Grandchildren (Matthew, Lauren, Lincoln, Lawson, Bristol). If you want to see lot's and lot's of cute pics of all of them, click here and Enjoy!
