Storms, Hail, Lightening

Sooo.... Unfortunately, since we have been here in Sunny Florida, our home in the Dallas area has experienced some intense weather. Ron has been home putting out all the fires... Not only did our cars and roof experience damage from the last hail storm.... lightening struck our neighbors house, tree, and some of our home in the middle of the night this week.... So, needless to say, lot's more damage. Water damage in our home, computer and Internet down, garage door zapped, among many many more problems. Outlet and power outage, and some of our appliances are fried..... When will it ever end? We have so many claims out, adjusters, insurance issue's, cars and roofs to fix, computers and appliances to fix......

zoo

There was a fun kids area at the zoo. Lincoln got to dress up as a veterinarian and take care of the sick animals. You can also see him digging in the sand to excavate some dinosaur bones...

The Zoo

We went to the zoo today. It was amazing, the boys got to PET and FEED the giraffes (Jens dream come true). They also got to feed a deer, eat dipping dots and cotton candy, and go on a zoo train ride...

Sand Flea

This little crab he found last night has been Lincoln's little pet for the past 24 hrs. It will soon be used for fish bait. But until then, Lincoln has been having fun playing with it.

Fishing

Yesterday, Ron bought Lincoln a "big boy" fishing pole, and Lawson inherited his "little boy" fishing pole.

We walked down to the pond and went fishing. They didn't catch anything, but had lots of fun.

This afternoon, me and the boys will be off to Florida.... Ron will be staying home. Please pray for us to have a safe flight, and that the boys (and me) will do well on the flight. We'll check in later!!

Jonesboro man blames imaginary friend 'Curt' for robbery idea

Jonesboro man blames imaginary friend 'Curt' for robbery idea
05:17 PM CDT on Sunday, April 6, 2008
Associated Press

JONESBORO, Ark. – A Jonesboro man may have needed to listen to his conscience — and not his imaginary friend — when thinking about robbing a home.

Robert McKenzie, 22, faces felony residential burglary and theft charges after stealing $10.50 in dimes from a Jonesboro home. Police say McKenzie told investigators his imaginary friend "Curt" told him to go inside the home. At a court hearing Friday, McKenzie asked a reporter why he didn't take a picture of "Curt."

Police say Nettleton School District employees caught McKenzie robbing a co-worker's home Wednesday. Officers say McKenzie stabbed a man with a screwdriver before being arrested.
McKenzie was being held Saturday on $5,000 bond at the Craighead County jail. He refused to fill out paperwork for a public defender to represent him.

Roof

We discovered that our whole roof was completely damaged by this hail storm. So.... While me and the boys are on vacation, Ron will have a new roof put on our house. Where does it end??? Well, I guess it is time for a new roof on our home anyway. Our home is 15 years old now. We've had to replace just about everything, but now it's as good as new!! ( We actually are in love with our home, don't want to ever move from here)

Dog Walk

To Whom it May Concern:
Please do not attempt to walk your dog while taking a bike ride. Your dog may tug you sending you over the handlebars. You may really hurt several parts of your body after you take a major fall. Plus you may be really embarrassed. Please listen to me. I know.
Sincerely,
An Injured Mommy

The Whole Gang

Flip Flop Friday. Here are the four boys at our house. They had a fun time....
And I got ALOT done with my 2 hours (I actually took Lincoln with me and just let Lawson)

Safety Tattoo's

Good Idea for Vacations, etc... As long as the finder wants to return the child.
Ron, too bad we didn't think of this one first. Let's keep trying for that original idea!!

Damaged Cars

Both of our cars have SEVERE hail damage.
Some homes near us had shattered (exploded) windows on their houses and cars.
But, today is a beautiful sunny day. We had our Flip Flop Friday (more on that to come), then the boys got to play outside for a bit.
