FlashBack

One Year Ago, Lincoln's 2nd Birthday party.
For those of you who voted to cut the curls, here is an idea of what he would look like.
I took him in for a haircut before his bday, and they cut ALL the curls off.
And personally, I think it looks horrible that short.
It just doesn't look right on him.
And Yes, I cried when I brought him home from getting it cut.

Christmas Shots

Now that you should have gotten your Christmas Cards by now, I can start posting our Christmas pictures. I have to warn you that she took 48 shots, so you are about to see a lot of pics in the upcoming few weeks.... This is the same photographer that took the boys shots at the Arberetum in overalls, she was Jen's old roommate.... We went to the studio in her house.

Cake For Lawson

Waited until we got home to let Lawson dig into some birthday cake. His first time having cake, he had more fun playing with it than eating it. And it was EVERYWHERE.... This is really gross.... I put it down on his tray before I cleaned up his dinner, so there are noodles and green beans mixed in with the cake, yuckkkkk

The Presents!!

Finally home with all the presents, hooray!!

Concentrating on each one. He also was pretty beat from the party. He actually went RIGHT down for his after opening presents....

Really excited to find out what was in this Big Elmo box (play doh activity center from the Wueste Twins)

All his new Toys, Thanks!!

We decided to take the presents home to open them versus at the party. That way the kids got an extra 30 minutes of open gymnastics time instead of watching him open the presents.
This actually worked out a lot better, because Lincoln could really take his time and check out each present. Thanks everyone, he has playing with all these new toys nonstop, Lawson too!!

Happy Birthday to You

More Birthday Pary Pics....

Lincoln spent a lot of his party time being rolled around in this barrell,
and of course being thrown in over and over into the sponge pit....

One of his highlights was passing out the goodie bags as his friends were leaving...

Circle time: Everyone got to go in the middle and introduce themselves by doing their special skill.
Parachute....

Nervous Lincoln biting his nails....

Guest Bath

Ron is remodeling the guest bath this weekend. He will put new wallpaper/border, frame in the mirrow, put new towel holders, etc... Pretty much a complete makeover. Can't wait to see how it is going to look.
For those of you that hadn't seen the bathroom, it is the guest bathroom but also the boy's bathroom. And it was wallpapered pink and white striped, and not very attractive at all.

Lincoln, Lawson, and I spent the afternoon at Chuck E Cheese for a birthday party. This little girl is in Lincoln's gymnastics class and also his Sunday school class. Good Times!!

When they wake up, we will head to the Flower Mound Holiday Stroll.... Can't wait, it's a bit cold but we will bundle up....

Lincoln's party tomorrow!!!

Ho Ho Ho

Went to see Santa today at Grapevine Mills Mall. 5 hours later, now we are home. The boy's loved sitting on Santa's lap. When Santa asked Lincoln what he wanted for Christmas, he said "a magazine".

Cold Cold

Just woke up, it is whopping 21 degree's outside, wow. First thing I thought was I'm so glad Justice is somewhere warm and not outside here.

They are still asleep, but when the wake up we will bundle up and go see Santa at the Mall!!

Then Lincoln and I will put together the goodie bags for his bday party. He has been involved in all the planning processes so far which is fun. We went last night and he got to pick out all the "goodies" for the bags, and will be able to stuff them today. He is an excited almost 3 yr old! Party in 2 days.

Tomorrow he will go to a friends bday party at Chuck E Cheese....
Baby's up.

Little Bit of SAD news

Good Bye Justice, thanks for all the good memories!!

Bad news for us, but good news for our kitty Justice.

Today, Justice was adopted. It was just getting too cold for Justice outside here, so I located her a good home. The women who adopted her is an older women living in a town home. It will just be the 2 of them. She will get lot's of attention, and she will stay warm. Her name is Donna, and Donna already emailed me some pics of her in her new home. I have to say, she did look pretty happy:

This is Justice in her new home tonight: we sent her with her favorite kitty bed!! Lincoln and I are very sad tonight.

It is good to be children sometimes,
and never better than at Christmas,
when its mighty founder was a child himself.

Welcome Jen

Welcome Jennifer Mary to our family in 1973.
I was 2 1/2.
I actually remember getting this picture taken!!
I was so excited to be allowed to hold the baby.

Me and younger sister Jennifer, bundled up playing in the snow in Illinois.

Wrappping up weekend

W.O.W. What a weekend. Ron sucessfully put in real wood flooring in both our study and in Lincoln's room. It looks great. We will get to Lawson's room later. I sucessfully kept the kids a

way and entertained during this process. The whole house right now is out of order, so I'll be working on getting everything back to normal.

Remember that Pumpkin patch I liked so much? well, in December it is a tree farm you can visit, with all the same fun things for the kids to do. These are some pics of Lawson at the tree farm yesterday, you can tell that he was just tooooo cold. But, he had fun playing in that little house.

Lincoln went to a birthday party on Saturday, Lawson and I also had fun there!! Lincoln's party is just a week from today. He is sooo excited. When I asked him what he wanted for his bday, he said, "a pumpkin, a ball, and a little present for Lawson". Boy, is he going to be surprised!!

Lincoln will perform in a Christmas program on Wednesday for his bible study class. Hopefully Ron will make it, and we can video record it.
