Moneyday

Hello!!
Can you believe that I "started" my Christmas shopping today. And I am NOT a procrastinator, just have had my plate FULL. Yes, I shopped for everyone else, but today I began shopping for my own children.... I will never wait this long again, I have learned my lesson. Everything I wanted to get them was no where to be found!! But, I was able to sneak away for a bit today while Nanny and Grandpa Dave held down the fort here...
TOMORROW is Lincoln's 3rd Birthday, I can NOT believe this... And he has been acting so grown up lately...
REAAH and Jeremy are HERE!! Ron is at the airport as we speak picking them up. Reaah is Ron's younger sister, she lives in NY and is an RN. Cool Sister in Law...

Lawson's 1st Ice Cream Cone

This is for all those OCD Mom's out there that do not let your poor babies get dirty. I say, just have fun and get it all over you!!
Lawson enjoyed being able to dig into his 1st chocolate ice cream cone, yummy!!

Milestone

Today is Lawson's first day to switch from formula to whole milk. 2 weeks early, but I'm pretty sure he will be ok.....
He loved it, so thats good. I had to disguise Lincoln's milk to get him to drink it at first. I had to put banana yogurt drink in it to make it taste yummy, then gradually decreased the portions.... Anyway, Lawson loved it.
And this is going to be GREAT!!! No more formula!!! That's an extra $25.00 a week of grocery money!! And no more preparation, life just keep's getting better and better.
Ron took Lincoln up to a Christmas Musical with Lincoln at Ron's parents church. We wanted to go too, but Lawson is in bed sleeping for the night and it is 6:25!!!
Ron's sister, Reaah and her bfriend will be in tomorrow, we are looking forward to the visit....

Party, Over

We had Ron's work party HERE at our home tonight. All went well. Catered in yummy food from Red Hot and Blue. Christmas Cookie Tray from Celebrity. I made some hot mulled apple cider. We had a special visitor, Santa Claus. Each child got one large gift from Santa and a stocking filled with goodies (made and picked, wrapped by yours truly).

Great Thursday!!
Mom and Dave are here, great to see them!!
Lincoln went to gymnastics and Mom and Dave were able to come and watch. He has his end of the semester awards ceremony next Thursday: So Reaah he wants you to come, too....
Mom and Dave got us and cut up some firewood.
Ron was able to come home and join us for lunch.
Lincoln napped while mom, me and Laws went to get a new shower curtain, and went to the fabric store to get some fabric to make drapes.
Mom made us some drapes for the study/guest room... Thanks, MOM. Dave will hang them tomorrow.
Mom and I wrapped 9 gifts for the work Christmas Party Here.
I made honey baked chicken, couscous and corn pudding for dinner. Ron brought home cookies from Celebrity bakery and also a nice box of chocolates from work....
Mom gave both boys a bath.
What a day!!
