Coats

This is what they looked like in there. They give you these WARM down parka's to wear, it's below zero in there. Lawson has never experienced cold like that, but he kept trying to take off his jacket....

ICE

Click here to see the ICE exhibit we went to today. It was absolutely amazing... And Cold!! The boys loved it. Check out the video clip on the right side of this website to see what we did, and I will post some pictures later.
We met our friends Darla, Ashly, Emily and Cara, Tori, Ryan and Maddie...

Young Lincoln

Here is an old Christmas pic of Lincoln when he was just under 2, exactly Lawson's age..... They look so different now, it's surprising when I look back and see how much similarity there is...

Swing Set

Here is what our new Rainbow Swing Set looks like. We have already enjoyed hours and hours and hours of fun with this great thing.... There is a telescope at the top...
Even our neighbors come over and have fun with us.... Ron has some more plans for an addition to the swingset, maybe making the bottom part into a playhouse...

Stephen

For those of you that remember our nephew "little" Stephen, you can see by this picture that he isn't so little any more. He is all grown up, and is playing on the football team... This is Joanna's, Ron's sisters, son...Last time we saw him was when Lincoln was born so it's been 4 years too long.... Hope to see you soon Stephen. How about a Texas vacation next summer?

School Pictures, Here

Got Lincoln's school picture package today. Very Handsome, take a look at which one we chose.

Go carts

Here is a video of the boys riding Lauren's go cart with her. The Wilsons live outside of Houston in Santa Fe, in a beautiful house on a bunch of land. It was so nice to spend the day out in the country.... The boys literally ran around their yard.... And loved the go cart rides...

Football Game Video's

Turn your head and you can watch a quick video of Lawson watching the football game....

And here is Lincoln "putting on his own show" to the music of the marching band... LOL...I have to warn you he was a bit delirious from sleep deprivation at this point.

Weekend Wrap up

After the game, Lincoln had a sleepover at the Wilsons. Lawson and I headed back to Tom and Courtneys.
Courtney had her tonsilectomy this week, so she was not feeling well. Hope we didn't bother her too much, but she was a trooper...
Since Lincoln was at the Wilsons, Lawson and Bristol had lots of playtime together, and we even took them to a bounce house: Tom has all the good pictures from there. Then we all met up at Sue's, my mom included, for an excellent lasagna dinner made by Uncle Steve... La La and Matthew took the boys on a go cart ride, Fun...
TOM:
On Sunday, listen to what my brother TOM did: I had to pack up and get ready to head out... so he watched the boys and Bristol, while taking care of Court from her surgery, he made us all pancakes, etc etc... I think he deserves a father of the year award.... I'm telling you, 2 years ago....

Santa Fe Football Game

The reason we took off to Houston was to go to my niece and nephew's high school football game. Matthew plays the trumpet in the marching band, and Lauren is on the dance team, the Tribal Belle's. So they both did an awesome performance for the half time show... Forgot how fun high school football games were... The boys had a great time...

On the way

We packed up all three kiddo's in our Suburban and drove out to Santa Fe for our big event, the HS football game. Here they are all in car seats watching a DVD movie... We didn't even leave for the game until after 7pm, and Bristol and Lawson both normally go to bed at 7:00 so that was challenging. But, they did really well nevertheless.

Friday

We left on Friday morning at 7:30 for our adventure to Houston. We arrived at Tom's 6 1/2 hours later.... (should have been 4 1/2 hrs)... Lot's and Lot's of stops... The boys had some playtime with Bristol before the football game. They showed off for her, hugged her, and taught her lot's of "boy" tricks... Sorry, Courtney.... Lawson and Bristol are really playing well together, and Lawson can say: Brisssstolll.

We R Home

We are back at home with Ron... We had a great, fun filled trip to the Houston area. More details and pics coming soon....

Wednesday, November 7

Apple Jacks

A is for apple, J is for jacks
The boys like Apple Jacks!!!
Wow, and this is the first cereal that we've had that has that special toy in the box.... I remember the cereal toys, that is a BIG thing for kiddo's...

Another Wiggles Fan

Remember how I told you Lawson has this thing about going in circles???? Well, here he is dancing (??) to the Wiggles.... Surprisingly, it takes a lot to make him dizzy...

Tues

What a "weird" day. Lincoln went to BED at 6pm tonight, and Lawson at 6:30... So, now we don't know what to do..... Well, I think we are going to watch a movie in just a bit...

I think I just overdid the boys today with gymnastics classes, preschool, playing on our new swing set, etc... They were zonked... Oh yeah, so am I....

I will post a pic of the new exciting swing set once Ron finishes the paint job. We have had so much fun on this thing...

The boys and I will go to the Houston area this weekend. My nephew plays in the marching band and my neice will perform half time, she is on the dance team, so we will go the High School football game to watch them. This is the last game... They live in a town outside of Houston called Santa Fe. We will stay with Tom Courtney and Bristol since you know they are baby prepared. Poor Courtney will be getting her tonsils out on Thursday, so hopefully we can help out while there. My mom is also off the whole weekend, so we will get to see everyone.... Looking forward to it... Poor Ron will have to work almost the entire weekend from home.... But it will help him that we aren't there to distract him anyway...

Oh yeah, I am getting a "smile makeover". Started the process this week. After my 3 year old kept asking me why my teeth were yellow I knew it was time to do something. I got fitting for some trays and will do a home bleaching kit and they will replace all my fillings that don't match up to the color.... Anyway, I also have to get my first you know what this week, you women out there over 35 know what I'm talking about....

Bye Bye Grandpa

My Dad, the boys Grandpa Lucek has come and gone. Quick visit, but we did a lot. On Sunday, we took him out to Lake Grapevine, the park we frequent that is just about 2-3 miles from our house. It was a beautiful day, sunny and 70 degree's. The boys love throwing rocks into the water, we did some rock climbing, kicked around the balls, and played on the playground. Then Grandpa took the boys to Chuck E Cheese for lunch and fun..... See you next time!!!
Here are some pics from the lake:

Grandpa's Here

Eating peanuts while we had a wait at the restaurant...

The boys....

Grandpa Lucek is here, and we sure have kept him busy. After he flew in, we took him on a bike ride to the park/duck pond... Then we went to a new restaurant here we have been wanting to try, Rockfish. Great dinner... then we walked around the shopping center. Came home and Grandpa played some games with Lincoln and we ate Klondike bars.

Welcome Saturday

1. After getting to sleep in a bit, I got to wake up to our first fire of the year....

2. Then Ron and the boys made waffles.

3. We found/bought a wooden Rainbow swing set, we will be getting it this weekend.

4. My Dad will be here in just a couple of minutes. He lives in Chicago, so he will probably enjoy this 74 and beautiful weather we are having right now.

Swing

Here is another pic of Lincoln playing in his PJ's, yes he also got a haircut this week. Those short haircuts need a lot of maintance. I remember when it was long I never had to get it cut...

Way. Too. Much. Candy.

Between the candy we had left over and the boys loot from trick or treating, this is what we have today. Two HUGE bowls of sweets.... OMG. What are we going to do with all of this??? There is a local dentist that buys back candy for $1.00 a pound, lol. I think Ron and I can polish a large portion of the chocolate off.... The boys would love to have a candy feast, but have to really limited then. I'm going to let them dig and pick ONE piece after lunch and ONE piece after dinner.....
