A new Girl in Town

My sister Jen found out that she is having a baby GIRL!!!
Great news for me, since I need more girls in my life!
Our little boy and her little girl will be born only a couple of weeks apart, and are bound to be the best of buds!!! Can't wait to watch them grow up together.
Congrats Jen and Mark, you will make great "girl" parents!

We made a quick, but very eventful, trip to San Antonio for our family Christmas party (my side). Each and every one of us was able to make it. Jen hosted a dinner and party for all 16 of us.
Thanks Jen and Mark!!!
Here are all the cousins:
Lawson (3), Bristol (3), Matthew (19), Lincoln (6), and Lauren (16).
(Next year there will be one more baby boy and one more baby girl!!!)

White Christmas

It snowed and snowed and snowed here for Christmas Eve. What a treat!!! The boys got to go sledding! This may be our only white Christmas, ever, so we are enjoying it. It didn't only snow, but it was actually called a blizzard! Didn't stop us, we still made it to 2:30 service, then to a great dinner at Sonoma Grill. Beautiful site to be eating a cozy dinner watching the thick snow fall outside!

Merry Christmas Blogger World!!!

Sick and Better Again

Lawson woke up this morning, and was vomitting every hour. Couldn't keep anything down, not even water. At one point he was lying in the bathroom, like a ragdoll w/o any energy whatsoever. Took him to the doctor at 3:30, he tested positive for Strep Throat! Did not see that coming, since I did not associate Strep with so much vomitting. Started him on penicillan...
His vomitting started this morning at 6:30am, it is now 6:30 pm, and he is running around the house completely normal. That kid doesn't stay sick long! He went from ragdoll state to energizer bunny state in a matter of a few hours...

Party, Lincoln's 6th

We had a fun 6th birthday for Lincoln last night. We had 15 kids, including ours. Parents dropped off the kids, this was a 1st for us. We had face painting, balloon animals, pinata, pizza, games, crafts, and cake/ice cream. Lincoln was one happy boy!!! (now onto planning Lawson's 4th!)

He's still a Boy

This is for those of you out there that have mentioned
something like,
"maybe there was a mistake on the sonogram,
and you are having a girl".

Nope, he's definitely still a boy, and we couldn't be happier!
He hasn't changed too much since the last sono picture, but here is FM5th: at 21 weeks. He weighs a pound already. Sono looked great, and everything is on the right track.

Let the Good Times Roll

We had Lincoln's "Family" party tonight, since his "real" birthday is on Saturday, and that's also when his "friends" party is. We've always had 2 parties for the kids, that way we can spend the family moment together. Nanny prepared us a steak and lobster dinner for his birthday!!! He was one happy 6 year old this year. We spoiled him just a bit, because he was such a good boy this year!

December Update

I wish I had something profound, exciting, or somewhat interesting to share. However, life has just been busy, busy with normal holiday experiences. Lots and lots of Christmas activities, parties, parades, lots of shopping (online too), lots of baking, lots of singing Christmas hymns, lot's of hot cocoa and tea, lot's of just enjoying life.

Baby: Ron felt the baby kick for the 1st time last night. Had an ultrasound today, and Nanny got to come along and "meet" the baby. There's no mistaken that it's really a boy!
Names? Nope, haven't gotten one picked out as of yet. Your suggestions are welcomed!

Lincoln's 6th birthday is this Saturday, planning his birthday party which will be here at our home. Wow, the past 6 years have really flown by.

"Falling" Asleep

Lawson was playing in his room, and fell asleep. He was so so so close to falling off the bed.... it was cute, but I had to move him right away.
