Little Helper's

The boy's helped out Pops by digging up the ugly bright white rocks, putting them in the wheelbarrel, and transporting them to the backyard. Of course, they loved helping Daddy, and scooping up rocks: what fun!! (you can see Lawson's busted lip in the close up!!)

Spa Night Out

I am actually going to the anual SPA NIGHT in San Antonio.....Every year since I moved away, my friends from SA all get together and Gina puts together a spa night at her house: there are facials, manicures, massages, etc... Everyone gets pampered while catching up, eating, relaxing... This year it will be like a reunion with a lot of our friends coming from out of town, and friends we haven't seen in years..... Anyway, 2 of my friends from here and I are jumping in the car and going for the day while our hubby's take over the homefront.....Thanks RON!!
We will stop for some outlet shopping on the way, and some lunch.... Can you tell I am excited???? However, I'll miss the boys.... That will be hard. Ron will take them to our church's Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday am, and I will miss seeing Lawson at his 1st Easter Egg Hunt, boo hoo...

Dooney

Can you believe that I found a NEW Dooney and Bourke purse at a garage sale for $2.00, yup thats right 2 bucks... The thing sold on ebay for $66.00.... My garage sale shopping the past 2 Saturday's has really paid off with ebay postings. I'm trying to figure out how to take this to the next level... I like the extra spending money.... And I like searching for deals... The whole ebay process has been fun for me...

Run

Lawson is now Running!! Yes, he learned to run so that he can run away from me when I am trying to change his diaper. No Joke... This child has to be the most difficult to change...He has been coming to me and tugging at his diaper and mumbling something sounding like diaper when he has gone #2... he asks for a diaper change, but then gives me such a hard time....

Swim

Lincoln had his first swim lesson for the year tonight. He did Great!! He loves the water, and he was so cooperative for the teacher.
I am switching his class though, because I put him in a much too advanced class, the other kids were doing the full out free style half way across the pool... lol... next week he will be in a better class for him, total of 4 kiddo's, same teacher, he liked her a lot...

Disasters...

Today was just one of those days where it was one disaster after another... You probably have those days yourselves... Even on the worst of worst days, I sitll love every minute of what I do....
On that note, you can view one of our disasters... Our live bunny photo sessions, a 55 minute disaster that kept getting worse... It was a miracle that out of all those pictures, there are some adorable one's I can't live without!!

Ron had a breakfast presentation to do today, in Austin. So, he was out the door at 3AM for the 3 1/2 hr drive to Austin, then he drove back this afternoon. Long day for him... Needless to say, he is already in bed, but I had to wake him up bc the bunny pics were just posted....

Whenever I have a disasterous day (I won't go into now...), the day after is always just wonderful... So, I am looking forward to tomorrow: Bible Study in AM and Lincoln's 1st swim lesson at Lifetime at 6pm....

Egg's

The neighbor and I are planning an Easter Egg Hunt for the little one's in our neighborhood to take place in our yard.... We finished the flyer, and given out today.... Hope we have a good turn out, and we invited all, even without kids, just to get everyone to meet and get to know each other... This will be held the Saturday before Easter. Can't wait for Easter.... What a FUN and SPECIAL holiday to have with little boy's....

Live Bunny

We have our live bunny Easter pix tomorrow of the boys... Hope they have some kind of photo shop editing system because Lawson has a scabbed up fat lip, scratched nose, bruise on cheek, and scraped forehead. Believe it or not, all injuries came separately...

Weekend Wrap Up

On Friday night, we indulged ourselves at one of our local favorites, Red, Hot, and Blue... Boy's did great, and we had a great meal...
Saturday AM I went garage sale hunting for some things to post on ebay, and Ron took the boys to a cook park here, kids castle... Then after naps, we spent the whole afternoon playing in the backyard, and Ron cooked us up some steaks and potatoe's, and got some backyard work done and landscaping. Sunday: Church, grocery game, and dinner out at a yummy Vietemese Restaurant.

MOPS today, housekeeping came, ran errands, played at MCD, and it is RAINING, Taco Salad for Dinner...

Playdate with Twins

We met the twins (and cara and tori) at Let's Jump: a great big bounce house place near where they live. They had a great time... Then we went over to their house for lunch and some backyard playtime: they even all took a wagon ride!! I am so glad we live so close to each other!!

Anesten

OK, while Jen was here, I swiped the memory card out of her camera and downloaded all the pictures she had on there. So, I'm going to post a few of my favorites I found.

Here are Lincoln and Anesten (Gabby's son) on Valentine's Day when Jen gave them both some goodies. You see, they are the same age and Jen is BOTH of their Godmother's.... I thought this picture was so cute bc they kind of look alike in a weird sort of way....

By the way, Gabby can't read my blog because she is "too busy", so if you talk to her tell her she has to read it to see the pics!!

Life Changing

OMG I forgot to tell you about something life changing I did. For the first time in my life, I hired a HOUSECLEANER!!! Someone in my MOMS club sent out an email to our group stating that the housecleaner she had was looking for a couple of new houses to clean.
. She said they loved her, she did a great job, and was very reasonably priced. Well, the day I got that email I was having one of those really bad days, and was praying for some help.... Well, I took this as a sign, and decided to use some of my ebay profits to try her out and see how it went.... Well, she did a great job, and wow what a stress relief to have things clean. You see, I can keep everything surface clean, laundry kept up, cooking etc.... But it's the deep cleaning that only gets done by staying up all night when the kids are down.... So, now I dont' have to worry about blinds, scrubbing, etc.... I am going to try having her come twice a month, and see how it goes.

Random

1. I got my wedding ring back, fixed, and beautiful. Love that ring... Got a new super duty mounting, so the diamond won't be falling out again anytime soon.... Glad to have that back on my finger again.

2. Guess what? Lincoln sold a batch of cookies on EBAY!!! Can you believe it??? Someone wanted his cookies!!

3. Lincoln had gymnastics spring break camp today, for 3 hours. Wow, 3 hrs of gymnastics, and he still isn't tired for a nap (he is playing in his room right now instead of sleeping....)

4. Ron worked this weekend on the back porch: put in doors, lights, it's coming along.

5. We are looking forward to our Florida vacation....

Lincoln age 14m

I like to go back sometimes to see pictures of what Lincoln was doing at Lawson's exact age. For those of you that can't remember Lincoln at 14 months, here is a reminder of what he looked like. There are some similarities between him and his brother, but they definitely have their own look.....

By the way, Lawson is right now the exact age that Lincoln was when I found out I was pregnant with Lawson!!! I sure can't imagine being pregnant so quickly this time.... I do also remember after looking at these old pictures, that life became so much more fun at this age...

Today's Fun

Lauren and I took the boy's to www.kidzmuze.com today. Lot's of fun. Lauren liked the rock climbing, and she was really good at it. It was more crowded than normal due to Spring Break, but it was good because they were conducting a lot of extra activities for Spring Break (gymnastics, arts and crafts, etc...)
